1. How do I shop?
Our site works in the same fashion that most shopping sites operate. You click
on the various product categories or products and select the item you want. You
can use our Search box to easily find your exact product. Try to be as specific as
possible. For example if you are looking for a blue Scooter by Razor type in Blue
Razor Scooter. Once you find the exact product you want, you can can click
on the "Add to Cart" button to place the item into your cart OR you
can click on the New link which will take you to other offers made by private
sellers/other companies who are selling in the Amazon Marketplace. If you buy
from a seller other than directly from Amazon, make sure you check their rating
so you can feel comfortable making the purchase. If you want to just buy from
Amazon and not an alternative seller, just click on the Add to Cart button and
not the New/Used links. On occasion you will see items that are used or
refurbished but most items are New. Everything is clearly marked so it's hard to make a mistake. This system works exactly the same way that Amazon.com does.
2. What are those stars?
Those stars are ratings by other consumers on the product (or the seller if looking at the buying options). Most products
also have review where you can read the experiences of other people who have
used the product. 5 Stars is the best possible rating.
3. How do I purchase an item and checkout?
Once you have selected your item(s), click on the view cart. Ensure the quantity
is correct along with the exact item that you want to purchase. Then follow the
easy steps that is part of the secure Amazon checkout system. You can also click
on the Checkout link. Both links are near the top on the right hand side on the
black bar. If you don't have an Amazon.com account, you can create one during
the process. We at SofterSideOfLove.com have NO access to any of your personal or
financial information. Amazon.com backs up your purchase 100%.
4. What cool features does your site have?
We have many such as the tools you see on the top right and underneath that we
provide 4 RSS feeds to hot products and just below that are great deals
Amazon.com currently has operating. On the left side of each page after you
select a product category you will see new releases, specific sub categories and
other features that will make your shopping fun and easy! We took the great Amazon.com format and improved on it.
5. What are the RSS Feeds?
These are informational feeds that update automatically. You will need a feed
reader to view these. The new web browsers like Mozilla Firefox and the new Internet Explorer have this built in or you can get a RSS reader easily on the internet. This keeps you in touch with what is going on with our
mall and up to date on new potential deals and products.
6. What is the "Send this Page to a
Friend"?
This application allows you to send an email to a friend or family (or to
yourself) that will list the page/product that was of interest. For example, say
you came across a cool gift that you like and you aren't sure if its
appropriate, you can email a family member, friend, etc and have them take a
look at it. One way some of us use it is as sort of a wish list and when we have
the funds or the need we go back to the email and click on the link.
7. What is the Free Gift Reminder?
This is a clever application where you can setup a reminder service for
anything such as a gift that you need to buy someone, holidays, birthdays, etc. for a potentially unlimited amount of
people and when the time approaches you will receive an email alerting you that
you need to buy that gift. A great free tool that can keep you out of trouble
with your friends and family!
8. What is the Sales Alert Newsletter?
This non-intrusive email is a weekly email that highlights deals, promo's,
hot products, etc. that can bring to your attention information that will save
you money and improve your shopping experience. We do not ever sell our list to
anyone and we will not barrage your email with a bunch of junk. You can remove yourself from the newsletter at any time with no drama.
9. Who are you?
We are a licensed, registered and legitimate company based in Central Florida.
The company has existed for over 10 years and is a highly stable, respected and
experienced American owned business.
10. How does Amazon.com come into Play?
We are an affiliate of Amazon.com. We have access to their servers, support,
staff, etc. to bring you an improved version of Amazon.com. You shop through us
on the "front end" and they take care of the "back end" -
i.e. accounting, finances, shipping, support, etc.
11. Why not just use Amazon.com?
Using our site and using Amazon.com is similar in a lot of ways. Security,
account management, products, safety, prices, etc. are exactly the same as we
all utilize the same servers, inventory, accounting systems. We like to think we
add several things such as additional tools, better navigation, an extra level of customer service
& support, easier to find your products and to find products that suit your
needs.
12. Does it cost more to use your company's
site?
No, the products and prices are exactly the same as Amazon.com. There is no
fee, surcharge or added expense in using our website. The extra level of service
and improved layout is provided to our customers for free.
